Fang Peak

Fang Peak is an incredibly tall pinnacle of rock, jutting up from the otherwise flat and grassy Nottle Plains. The base of the mountain is a rugged landscape of rocks and boulders, and is dotted with numerous shallow caves. It is impossible to climb, as Fang Peak rises skyward almost symmetrically like a cone, narrowing as it goes and giving the peak its namesake.

Gnolls across Angeda hold this mountain sacred, believing it to be all that remains of Sky-Mother, their god and progenitor. Each year, hundreds of gnoll tribes gather for a multi-day festival, loosely translated as the Nights of Feasting Mother. Here they trade goods, captives and stories, and bury their dead, often ritually consuming the remains to better entomb the bones.
